Hi I'm Chad

I'm a bass player, a reader, I love tennis, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a great family, and was given the opportunity of learning to play music from a very young age starting on the piano. I later on learned to play the upright and electric bass and it became my primary instrument and the basis of my educational pursuits. I love all things music and it will always be a huge part of my life. My other interests include reading, video games, tennis. I love anything outdoors, and I love to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

Notwithstanding my family being active Mormons and themselves being excellent examples, I was never able to grasp the importance of religion and lacked a desire to be involved with any church. Poor decisions led me down avenues which eventually left me without hope and motivation to go on. But during this dark time of my life, I remembered a specific promise found within the Book of Mormon that I had learned from attending church with my family. That promise is found in this scripture: "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost." -Moroni 10:3-5 Having nothing to lose, I decided to test the promise, and proceeded to read the entire Book of Mormon, and asking God if it was true. He answered my prayer, and I acted according to the answer I received, and watched in amazement as my life was virtually turned around. I was filled with hope and desire, and I began to love my life and everything (and everyone) in it. The Book of Mormon IS true. It, along with the Holy Bible, will build faith in Jesus Christ and teach us to do good. God lives, and Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

I believe in being more concerned with what God thinks than what people think. I try to act, speak, and think in such a way that would please God. I try to do my best in whatever calling I may be given in the church, and believe that magnifying your calling is paying attention to the details. Having myself been completely changed by the examples in my life, I try to be an example to others who may need one.
