Hi I'm Angela

Awesome wife, super mommy, perpetual optimist, avid reader, music lover, habitual procrastinator, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an extremely blessed girl! I have been married to my perfect match for over 10 years now, and am grateful every day to journey through life with such an amazing man! Our happiness is only made greater by our three amazing children. My kids light up my life for sure! I love helping them grow, watching them learn and discovering how wonderful life can be all over again through their eyes! Motherhood is just the best! I am absolutely in love with life. I am hopelessly optimistic, I am a dreamer, a romantic, an artist, a procrastinator, a perfectionist. I am wildly imaginative, highly innovative, blatantly sarcastic, completely uncoordinated, eternally hopeful... I love with everything I have, always. I believe in true love, hope, miracles and myself. I love to dance and sing and to laugh and just be silly. I truly appreciate that life itself is a wonderfully beautiful gift. I love taking pictures. I love fashion. I love to decorate, I love to draw, paint, and to create. I love music!! I love to read! I love being warm, I hate the cold and the snow and the wet. I love giving gifts and making others smile. I am a terrible swimmer, much to my husband's dismay. I love Disneyland and all things Disney. I love being barefoot, black licorice, the color pink, road-trips, t-shirts, roller coasters, being outside, pajamas, ice cream, unicorns, the word "awesome", and coloring books.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the Church. I was raised in a Christian home, but religion was never something that was emphasized and I only ever attended church occasionally during Christmas or Easter. I remember always loving the stories I heard about Christ and the feelings I had when I thought of Him. As I grew up, that good feeling was something I realized that I longed to have more of in my life. Something inside me just felt incomplete somehow. I was blessed to have a good friend in high school who shared the gospel with me. I had so many questions, and during our conversations I began to feel that good feeling I had been searching for. He gave me a Book of Mormon and wrote his testimony inside the front cover. He promised me that if I read it, it would lead me to true happiness. As soon as I read those words, the good feeling inside increased to an intensity that I had not yet felt before. I knew in that moment that the Holy Ghost was testifying to my heart that my friends words were true. Sadly, I did not read the Book of Mormon right away. To be honest, I was scared. Scared of what my family and friends would think of me. So I put the book on my shelf and tried to forget. I was going through an especially hard time when I picked up the Book of Mormon again. I re-read my friends wonderful testimony, and again felt the strong, peaceful feeling inside. In that moment, I knew that I needed to become a member of the Church. I decided it didn't matter if my friends or family disapproved, if I was going to find true happiness, then becoming a member of the Church was what I needed to do. I was able to attend a Church Sacrament meeting and meet with Missionaries who further taught me the principles of the Gospel. I was baptized a couple weeks later. Because of my choice, I have cultivated amazing life long relationships, and have had wonderful ways to serve within the Church. The day I was baptized truly was the the beginning of my true happiness.

How I live my faith

I love living my faith! I love attending church! I love reading my scriptures and teaching my children the Gospel. I have felt such joy in my life through serving in the Church. I have had several opportunities to teach in the Church, something that has taught me so much! I feel that it is so important to never stop learning. I continually find that any knowledge I have can always be expounded upon. I try my best to be kind. I truly believe that sometimes a smile can make all the difference to someone. I try my very best to serve those around me, and to be aware of those in need. I have been the recipient of such wonderful acts of kindness at varying moments in my life, and know just how much it means to know that someone cared enough for me to lighten my burden. I love to attend the Temple. I love to just look at the Temple! It brings such a good feeling to my heart!
