Hi I'm Kim

I'm 20 years old and living the life as a college student.

About Me

It is my junior year at college in Utah and i am going into the Social Work major. I have grown up playing sports and basketball has been my main love! I love to read romance novels, take naps, and laugh with my friends. I have an older sister and a younger sister and brother. My family is the most important thing to me and i love spending as much time with them as i can! I was diagnoised with ocd when i was about 8 and i have learned how to handle and live with it. I love my dog Bruce and i enjoy laying out in the sun getting a tan. I'm addicted to cookie dough ice cream and drama tv shows. I'm just an average girl who likes to laugh and have fun and be with her friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because i know its the true and living church on this earth. I was fortunate enough to be born in an LDS home and have grown up with the religion. I have always gone to church and lived by its standards because that was how i was raised. But once i hit my teenage years, i decided i needed to know for myself if what my parents and the church has taught me, is true. So i read the Book of Mormon, i kept the standards and i prayed to Heavenly Father constantly. I was reaffirmed and assured that this church is true and that it would bring me closer to Christ. How i knew it was true? I got the warmest feeling in my body and i tingled. I felt this peace and happiness inside of me and it was a feeling i never wanted to lose. I have that feeling constantly, whenever i chose to do right and stay close to my savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not being ashamed of who i am and how i live. I let others know i'm Mormon and i don't lower my standards for anything.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being Mormon is a normal thing to me. I am just like everyone else but i do things a little differently. I have standards that i keep not because the church makes me, but because i know by keeping them i will be a better person and make better decisions down the road. I have the knowlegde that there is a Father in Heaven who is aware of me and loves me and i have the knowlegde and opportunity to have an eternal family. I honestly can't think of any negative or downs about being Mormon. It makes me see who you really are the potenial you have. It brings you the sweetest peace and happiest feeling. Being Mormon is great and i wouldn't make to be anything else! Show more Show less
