Hi I'm Brady

I love jazz music, the outdoors, and learning! I Love Life!! I'm a Mormon, and Love IT!!!

About Me

I'm the oldest of 6 kids. Boy-girl-boy-girl-boy-girl. I love learning and doing any recreation I can find. I love working with wood and have done kitchen cabinetry for several years. I do all kinds of construction proficiently, mostly interior. I love school and learning. I've done 7 years of college and want to do at least 7 more. I major in Jazz music studies, Physics, and one day hope to do history. I love to read and watch documentaries. I ademantly love to camp, backpack, ride any gas powered machine, especially road bike, snowboard, golf, cycle, and play basketball and ultimate frisbee. I play and study the trumpet and piano, mostly in jazz. I love all music and also work as an audio recorder and live sound operator.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church from two parents strong in the faith. Both served missions (mom to Italy, dad to England) and raised us fully engulfed in the church. My parents divorced when I was 9 and dad remarried. My step-family is also fully active in the church and a great support to me. I graduated semenary, got my Eagle Scout, and was a straight A student in high school. I left high school, left home, and left the church and pursued worldy curiousity for a time. After 6 years of college and moving to Texas I discovered my testimony and built upon it, motivated from within myself for the first time. I watched my younger brother and 3 step-brothers serve missions. I saw the results of my sister's preparation and marriage in the temple. I really studied it out in my mind, unknown to my family, and asked God sincerely if the Book of Mormon is true. I recieved my answer in a chain of amazing events that eventually led to my opportunity to serve a mission in Santa Rosa California. I know that this church is true, and that this life is the time to prepare to meet God. I know there is purpose to this existence, and that the experiences we go through polish us and prepare us for eternity. I know that God knows me and sent me to my parents at this time for a reason. My family is my greatest joy and I know we will spend eternity together.

How I live my faith

At the time I'm writing this I am serving as a missionary in Santa Rosa California. I've been a teacher prior to my mission but my teaching skills have become so much better and effective since I came out. I have been called to serve as an "online" missionary which involves facebook and blogging to augment my current work as a missionary. That is why I'm making this profile now. I love the church because it is set up and run by God. No other organization can claim the same. I love that my face is used as the face of the church every day on the streets, and hope to keep it that way the rest of my life.
