Hi I'm Debi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired pre-school teacher. I love to paint and sculpt using recycle items in my work .I am a 57 year old newly wed who loves to snorkel, travel, spend time with our kids and grandkids and our two labs and chihuahua. My husband and I both graduated from Humboldt State with degrees in art and history. We love the out doors and the North Coast provides us with a beautiful area to do that in. We love dancing, hiking, plays and being together. We also love playing board games especially dominos with our wonderful church friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that families should be together forever. My husband,Gale, a convert at age 31, tried to pick the investigator lessons apart . The deeper he got into the lessons the more sense and plain truth it seemed. After personal prayer he gained a witness and testimony of this Gospel. He wanted to be a part on this good work and truly felt the joy, peace and happiness in his life that he had never felt prior. Our lives are filled with joy because of our faith.

How I live my faith

I am currently a teacher in the women's organization after working with the young women for several years. My husband Gale is the Bishop of our small ward. We love going on temple trips and youth activities. The scriptures say "Man is that they might have joy." Living the gospel brings that peace and joy.We don't feel that we have do do anything special every day but the gospel gives us a track to run on. Being good neighbors makes for a happy neighborhood.
