Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four boys and three girls and so far 19 grandchildren. I am CPA who has worked for state government for thirty-five years. Each of my sons are eagle scouts. My daughters are all married with children. In addition to volunteering at church I have served as a youth baseball and football coach and serval positions in Boy Scouts of America including scoutmaster.

Why I am a Mormon

Even-though I was born in an LDS family while I was growing up my father did not attend church. My mom was the one who brought us to church. I had a decision to make. I decided to go on a mission and find out if the church was actually true. Just before I went on my mission, I was having tremendous problems controlling my thoughts until I went through the Salt Lake Temple for the first time. As soon as I walked through the front door, the burden was lifted from me. I had such a strong spiritual witness that I could not deny it. After that I had a great missionary experience. When I came home my friends and family could not believe the change in me.

How I live my faith

Now after a lifetime of service to my church and family, I feel that I have had so many spiritual witnesses that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is truly the restored church that Jesus established in mortality while he was on the earth. The priesthood of God is available to all those who wish to avail themselves of all the saving ordinances neccessary for us to go back and live with Heavenly Father and our elder brother Jesus Christ, to whom we owe so much.
