Hi I'm Bree-Anna

I am a newly wed & I have a large & loud family. I love watching moives/TV & spending time with my amazing family & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and i enjoy hanging out, having games nights and dinner with our friends. I am looking forward to travelling in the next few months and about (in future years) becoming a mother. I am interested in beauty therapy but am currently working for a large company doing finance and general business services work. I love art and have a great love for music, and good tv and movies. I love spending time with my amazing family (both sides) and enjoy the blessings of living in close proximity to them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. When i was little it was just a habit, it was simply what we did. We went to church with our family each Sunday, upheld our callings and participated in all church activities. But as i have grown i have come to recognise and believe with all my heart that this is the true gospel. I have had many experiences that have strengthened my testimony greatly. I cannot deny the feelings i get when i listen to others testimonies, when i serve others, and when i read the scriptures. I love feeling the spirit and try to go to the temple as often as i can. I cannot express how truly grateful i am to have the gospel in my life and how grateful i am to know who i am, where i am going, and that i can be with my eternal companion and my family for all of eternity. It is a great comfort to know these things and it helps me to be the best that i can be. I love reading the scriptures and having my own personal prayer. I love that i can talk to my father in heaven about anything and that i can do it any time anywhere. I love that he knows my thoughts and the intents of my heart and that he loves me. I love that i know he understands me even though i am not the best at expressing myself or my feelings.

How I live my faith

My calling is a primary teacher. I teach the 5 and 6 year olds in sunday school. It has been a great blessing to be with them for the past year. They have taught me so much. My husband and i have weekly family nights, and as its just the two of us right now, we combine it with one of our families. I love going to all Church activities and interacting with everyone there and feeling of the spirit.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Bree-Anna
When i got married i got very excited when i realised that i could now run the house the way my husband and i wanted to run it. I realised that i no longer had to follow mums rules or have daily chores that i didn’t like doing, i could organise the cutlery draw how i wanted it and be home when i wanted to be home. However i quickly learnt that although i had the freedom to do all of these things, i turned back to what my parents had taught me. I had arranged my draws the way my mum had, i was cleaning as often as she did, purely from habit! I believe that families are so important because we learn so much from them and ultimately we become a version of them, for better or for worse. Our parents are the ones that teach us how to walk, how to talk, how to act, what to value and what standards should be important to us. Our families make us strong and are and should be a source of love and support in this life and the next. They greatly influence the people will become. We believe that families are central to God's plan for us. We believe that if we live worthy that we will be able to spend eternity with our families and we believe that it is the parent’s responsibility to teach us the values and truths that we need in order to get there.
