Hi I'm Jeremy Slade

I'm a Colorado Native and love the Moutains and the snow and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on the Front Range and learned to love the mountains all that the mountains have to offer. I learned how to Snowboard my first year of College and have been hooked ever since. I studied healthcare management and healthcare Admin at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, but my love of snowboarding led me to the mountains. I took a job doing software support for the ski resorts for the free season pass that came with it. I had only planned on doing it for a few years, but am now hooked on living in the mountains. During the summer I love to hike and climb Colorado’s 14er’s with the goal of climbing all 54.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but have grown to love it. It has played a major role in who I am and who I want to be. I have found great comfort and joy in being a Mormon. The church has brought me closer to the Savior and taught me to love those around me. I know it is His church and that he leads it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active in church activities and living by the principles it teaches. I work with the young men in the congregation and participate as an Assistant Scout Master in the LDS supported Troop. I also work to provide safe and wholesome activities for the youth to participate in, like dances and conferences. As a local scout troop we have provided several service projects to the local community. I love working with the youth in the congregation and have learned a lot from them. The principles I’ve learned from church activity has taught me to be an honest employee at work, a law abiding citizen, and provide service to all those around me.
