Hi I'm Aaron

I live in Arizona with my wife and 5 children. I am a Certified Financial Planner. I joined the church when I was 12.

About Me

I am a happily married father of 5 children. I love basketball and the outdoors. I am a certified financial planner and co-own a small family firm. I love playing practical jokes and laughing with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up in Utah with my mother I was never baptized. My mother was not actively attending church until I was 12 when I was given the choice to take the missionary discussions. You may wonder if a 12 year old could really understand what he was learning and make an educated decision about joining a religion at that age but I can tell you that although I may not have completely understood the significance of the concepts I was being taught I did understand how I felt and how it affected my family. I am so grateful that I had the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life to guide me during my teenage years and thereafter. My feelings for the Savior and his Gospel are deep. I appreciate life so much more because of my understanding of His plan and His atonement for us all. I would encourage anyone reading this to take a serious look at this Church. I know it has been an amazing blessing in my life and the lives of my family.

How I live my faith

Living what you belief is sometimes difficult for all of us but is what makes us truley happy. I am grateful for a Church that give the chance for me to serve and be committed to what I feel so strongly about. I served a mission in Canada which was a wonderful experience. I have spent many years following that working with the youth. This is definately my favorite. I think because I will never grow up I can relate to them. I recently took my third group of youth to Havasupai Arizona where we hike over 10 miles to one of the most scenic places on earth. It makes me happy to see this young men and young women do something that is hard, that makes them stretch and grow both physically and spiritually. It is so reawarding for me to see them begin to feel strongly about the Savior and follow his example in serving others. I also love to teach my own children about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and am thrilled to see them understand and live his teachings.
