Hi I'm Carla

I was born in South Africa and raised in Georgia. I love movies, music, books, friends, family, Springboks Rugby and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in South Africa and raised in Georgia so i am a literal GRITS. I love the South. It is home to me and i hope that one day I will again live in Georgia. I am currently attending a church school where I am studying to receive a Bachelors Degree in Biology. I am grateful to have been raised in the church and to have gained my own firm testimony of its truthfulness. I am grateful to a loving Father in Heaven who has given me the direction to go in my life. I pray constantly for the companionship of the Holy Ghost to help me make the decisions I must. I am grateful for loving parents who have given me an opportunity to learn and grow in a land of freedom and to make the most of myself. I love my family and would do anything for them! I am living the gospel standards so that one day i can attend the temple to receive the blessings and ordinances found there with my future husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but i had to gain my own personal testimony and I am a Mormon now, not because I was raised one, but because I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and all that is taught. I have been blessed to have experiences unique to me and to my situations that have assured me of the truth and that what I am doing is right and that Heavenly Father is pleased with me and loves me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings with faithfulness and diligence and doing my best to uphold gospel principles in my life. I live my faith by standing up and standing by my beliefs and by living as a righteous daughter of God.

In whom should we have faith?

Carla
We need to have faith in Heavenly Father and in his Son Jesus Christ. After we gain faith in them, it is difficult not to have faith in anything that is presented by them. To have faith in them is to trust them completely and have no reservations to their will for you. Show more Show less
