Hi I'm Brittany

I'm a fun loving, fisherman, traveling, Working at Cabela's gal, who loves going for motorcycle rides. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 21 years old, still living at home with my mom while I'm attending North Idaho College to get my A.S. In History. I hope to go on to Eastern Washington University and study Anthropology/Archeology. I guess you could say I like to play in dirt :-)..... I'm an only child and I have one dog and three cats. I have been with my boyfriend for 1yr and 4 months and he is the one who helped me get into the church. I'm shy at first but once you get to know me, I never shut up. I love to have fun and I'm up for just about anything!. I LOVE to travel and look at old cars. My Favorite color is yellow and my wish is to have a yellow truck one day. I was in Girl Scouts and was able to go to one of the World House in Mexico in 2006 until my troop broke up in my senior year shortly after our trip to Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, half of my Family was Mormon while the other half was not. While I never grew up going to church, I did visit my Great Aunt Becky and my cousins in Utah and I did attend church with her family. My aunt made it so much fun, that I forgot that we were there for three hours :-) and I found it easy to understand the church and enjoy the many blessings that come with being a member. I loved going to class with my cousins and learning things that I had never thought about before. I also grew up with a lot of the same beliefs. Throughout my childhood I always had friends within the church, or knew people in the church whether it be neighbors or co-workers and it seemed like I was always led back to the church. After meeting my boyfriend, I became more active in the church and I found that I was more and more happier and felt the spirit all the time. After meeting with the Missionaries, I knew that the church was for me. I've been a member for little over a year now. Ever since becoming a member, I have had blessing and trials, but It has brought me closer to our heavenly father. Knowing that we have a living prophet and a living priesthood just makes it even better. Reading the Book of Mormon gives me so much more insight to our heavenly father and what he has planned for us. Knowing that we can live a happy and full life while still following the gospel by reading our scriptures that can apply to us every single day in our present day is just amazing! I'm proud to say that I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I talk about it every moment that I can.

How I live my faith

Within my YSA Ward, I was giving two callings. The Program Director, and the librarian. By doing these two callings, I have learned so much within the church and I have met so many new friends. These being my first callings ever, it really took me out of my comfort zone and challenged me, but it challenged me in a good way. Knowing that by doing these two simple, yet very important callings within the church, and knowing that I'm helping heavenly father by this charity, I know that I will be blessed and that I will have the holy spirit with me.
