Hi I'm Natasha

I was born in Hawaii. I am a singer. I am a photographer. I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Hawaii. I was fortunate enough to have been born into the church. My parents were converts and eventually divorced when I was 6, my Mom raised me and my 6 siblings on her own. My Moms strength has always been an example to me. My love is my music, I am a singer, aspiring actress and radio DJ. I attended the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood. I was fortunate to have an encouraging Mom who built up my confidence by telling me I can do anything in life. "It's the dreamers that built the sky scrapers." But the truth is, without my Heavenly Father in my life and my family nothing else matters. On September 29th 2010, my life was changed forever when I held my daughter in my arms for the very first time. My daughter has been an endless blessing in so many ways! Children change your life for the better. My little daughter brings me more joy than words could never describe. She makes my heart smile. In November 2011 my daughters Father and I went through the proceedings of a very challenging divorce. For the first time in my life I felt true heart ache and the heavy challenges of a divorced single parent. I am grateful for those experiences, they have made me stronger and more empathetic to those who have gone through the same experiences. In 2013 I met eternal companion who has healed my heart in so many ways. I would never regret any of my experiences, they have made me who I am and brought me my beautiful daughter and guided me to my soul mate.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because when I go to church I feel a burning in my heart that is completely undeniable. I know without a shadow of doubt that our church is the true church here on earth. When I was young I explored many different faiths. I wanted to make sure that the Mormon faith was true. Nothing felt right to me. I couldn't find the answers that I needed in other faiths. I had gone through a period in my life when I was inactive from church. My career took off but I always felt something was missing in my life. I felt a sadness inside, I knew that I was not on the right path until one day I had the courage to follow my heart which lead me back into the chapel doors and since then I have not looked back. I have been a strong believer and follower of the most amazing church on earth. The Mormon faith answers every question I could ever have, it gives me a feeling of peace in my heart and a joy knowing that our Heavenly Father loves us so much that he provided the Mormon church for all of us.

How I live my faith

I have held a few callings in primary. I love little children, to be able to teach them gospel principles every Sunday brings joy to my heart. I have just been given a new calling working with the youth and I cannot wait to begin! Every day I work hard on trying to be the best example possible for my little girl. I hope that I can teach her and guide her in every way through my example. I have been blessed with a very caring and righteous husband. I see how much the church means to him and it brings me great happiness that he carries such a strong desire in his heart to do what is right. Living in a world faced with so many temptations and obstacles is a challenge but when we live the teachings of the gospel we become strong and understand the purpose of why we are here.
