Hi I'm Courtney
I grew up in Colorado. I have 3 younger siblings. I am a Mormon.
About Me
When I was five I fell out of the attic door onto the cement floor so I have had a head injury as a result of that. I am partially paralyzed on one side as a result from my injury. I am also blind out of my right eye, so steps are a little hard to maneuver. I am interested in reading I love to read, however the books have had to go to large print so I can still read. I also would like to write a book. I like to play the piano. I like to type to and talk to my family on the computer. I like to cook, I also like to try new recipes. I also like to invent new ideas and try different spices when I cook. I love to sing. I have a karaoke machine I really do enjoy music. I like Country Music, Classic, R&B, Oldies, Church Music. I like to go to concerts.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born into the church. I can't imagine not being a member of this church. I know I can talk to my Father in Heaven and he will hear and answer me. I know that he not only hears and answers me but also that he lives. I know that the his Son Jesus Christ is my advocate to the Father. A few years back when I was having a hard time I was fortunate enough to receive a blessing from my Father in Heaven and he expressed his love and concern for me and his longing to have me back in his presence. Also when you join the church you have instant family where ever you are in the world you will never be alone.
How I live my faith
I live My Faith By attending church. By serving in as a Visiting Teaching Supervisor. What this is we have two sisters set apart to visit other sisters in the church, they call and tell me if things are in order if there are any worries it is our way of keeping track of one another in our church family. I also live my faith by practicing what I preach. I do not make promises and then back out of them at the last minute.
