Hi I'm Annette

I grew up in the Great Pacific Northwest. I am a vocalist - mostly opera, operetta and musicals and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like to cross-stitch and other needlework. Singing is what I do best. I enjoy the comraderie of musicians that get together to create a show which will hopefully make people laugh or think. I have an elder parent and a handicapped sister with whom I spend a lot of time. I will have been married 18 years this year. No children and one very large cat. My scriptures are close to my bed so that I may reach for them in times of need. They give me strength and comfort.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into a Mormon family, I still had to go through the process of learning about the gospel and what faith was to me. I went through times of bad choices and found that the only happiness was back into the arms of my Heavenly Father. No where else can I find solice for a broken heart, calm during a storm or understanding of my fellow man.

How I live my faith

I teach the 5-6 year olds. They are a busy group of children who love the stories from the scriptures. Teaching these kids is a way to keep me searching for answers to questions I may have so that I am ready when the children ask me those same questions. I also have two ladies from church that I visit at least once a month just to see how they are doing. This gives me a chance to go beyond myself, my comfort zone, to help another. I experience the feeling of compassion and love when I visit.
