Hi I'm Brooke

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the happy wife to a swell guy. I am fortunate to be a stay-at-home mother of 4. I am a sister and friend. I love to learn new things, create, and explore.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be raised in the church. I was blessed with obedient parents who thankfully created many opportunities for me to feel the spirit in our home. Although I feel I always had a testimony, I was fickle. I went through the motions. I wasn't committed. My conversion was when my mother was diagnosed with cancer and later passed away. I was 25. I had one child with another one on the way. I needed faith comfort. Thanks to the examples of my parents and husband, I knew I needed to turn to my Father in Heaven. I decided to read the Book of Mormon for the first time in my life on my own. I can't believe I had never done this before. I was lazy, uninterested. I thought I knew enough. Reading the Book of Mormon changed my life. I gained a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I received peace and comfort. Rather than going the the motions, I had the desire to do what was right not because it was what I had been taught but because of my love for my Savior and Heavenly Father. I believe in the atonement of Jesus Christ. I believe He did it for all of us.

How I live my faith

I serve regularly in my home, neighborhood, friendships and at church. I feel the best service I can offer is in my home. I teach my children to make good choices and to treat others with kindness and compassion. I serve as a president of the women in my ward. I help plan activities and help sisters gain a testimony of Jesus Christ, strengthen their homes and families and serve others.
