Hi I'm Kelli

I am a full time working wife, mother of 2 children and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 2 children. I work full time to help support our family while my husband completes his residency. We moved from Utah to Nebraska a year ago and the transition has not been so easy. It is hard being away from family and friends, but thanks to the church I have met some great people and developed some great friendships that have helped me through this transition.

Why I am a Mormon

Having my own family has really strengthened my testimony of the Gospel and the importance it plays in a family unit. Although I was born and raised in the gospel, there is so much that I don't know or understand. I strive daily to learn more and understand so I can teach my children. I fear the temptations that my children will be faced with, but knowing that I can't keep them in a bubble I have to rely on the strength of the gospel and teach them by example to do good in all things and rely on the Lord our Savior Jesus Christ to guide me as a parent and guide them as they grow and develop. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides the support to guide and strengthen our testimonies that we may choose the right in all we do and strive always to be better people. This is what makes true happiness and for it I continue to believe and practice my faith in Jesus Christ through the Church.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the women of the church on the third Sunday. This has been a challange for me, but has definatley helped me develop a talent for teaching and helped me to learn more about the principles of the gospel. I still lack a lot of knowledge, but have learned so much with this calling. With the help and excellent example of others, I have been successful in visiting sisters that I attend church with and have developed good relationships and friendships I would not have outside the church. I strive to be a good example to my children so that they may have the desire to follow Jesus Christ's example of compassion and love and keep the commandments so they may in turn receive the blessings that our Heavenly Father has promised us.
