Hi I'm Ethan

I'm a Mormon. I am married with four children. I am an attorney in Mesa, Arizona.

About Me

I am a husband and father. I've been married since 1996. My wife and I have four children - two bookend boys and two girls in between. My wife and children are everything to me. I am a real estate/bankruptcy attorney in Mesa, Arizona, in practice since 2004. I love to read. I run (I recently ran the St. George and Salt Lake City marathons) and I enjoy racquetball, golfing and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is true. I've read it along with the Holy Bible and I've asked my Father in Heaven if the Book of Mormon is true. I cannot deny it; I know it is scripture. Because I know the Book of Mormon is true, I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he was called by the Lord to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth. My entire testimony is based on the Book of Mormon. It is indeed the keystone of my testimony. Why is it my keystone? Because if the Book of Mormon is true, then Joseph Smith is who he says he was - a prophet of God. If Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, then he restored Christ's Church to the earth. In addition, and more importantly, if the Book of Mormon is true, then Jesus Christ is who He says He is - the Son of God, my Redeemer and my Savior. The converse is also true. If the Book of Mormon is false, then this Church and Joseph Smith are a fraud. It's just that simple to me. I love the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I get to work with the youth in my Ward. On Sunday's I get to spend time teaching the 12-13 year old young men and women. I also get to spend time with my ward's primary, which is dedicated to teaching children ages 3-11. There is nothing better than helping children learn about Jesus Christ and how he can help us be happy. During the week I get the chance to visit other church members. I get to visit families that have moved into our ward, familes that have recently joined the Church, or familes that just need to know that they are part of a ward family. I also get to attend weekly activity nights for our young men and women.
