Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a family man. I love golf, reading, and running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I are parents to three terrific children. My family is the most precious thing I have. During the week I'm a homebuilder, trying to grow a small company in a challenging real estate market. I have a love for the game of golf, especially when I get to play with my dad and brother. I also enjoy exercise and recently completed my first marathon. I love sports and competition in general. I'm an aspiring book worm and have even been as dorky as organizing a small book club with some friends. I'm a foodie and my wife and I dominate her siblings in our annual iron chef competition.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I find happiness when trying to follow the teachings of Christ. I believe that the gospel that Christ taught when he lived on earth can be found in this church. I feel closer to my Heavenly Father as I strive to live what I'm taught. I feel peace in my life when I study the Bible and Book of Mormon daily. I know that Christ leads this church through prophets and apostles just like he did after his resurrection. I'm a Mormon because I can find more happiness in my family when my home is centered on the teachings of Christ. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to get along in this world without my faith. I want my marriage and family to be eternal and that wouldn't be possible without the Savior and his church. I'm a Mormon because it makes be a better husband, father, and person.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given me incredible opportunties to give service. I was able to go on a mission in the Baltic states of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. This 2 year experience taught me things about myself and my relationship with God that will bless my life forever. My most recent assignment in church was to work with the 16-18 year old young men. I enjoyed teaching them, serving alongside them, and having fun with them. I strive to live my faith everyday through prayer, studying the scriptures, being a good husband and father, taking care of my body, and trying to live the golden rule. I try to be honest in my dealings at work and I try to treat others with respect and kindness. My faith teaches me to think less about myself and serve those around me.
