Hi I'm Bob

I’m a married father of 4. I'm a real estate broker. I'm a sports enthusiast. I’m a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in central California in a closely knit family with 3 older sisters. I absolutely love sports and played everything growing up. Basketball and volleyball became my favorites. As my vertical jump and speed have quickly declined, I've become more of a golf, tennis, running and biking guy. One of my fondest memories growing up was enjoying a good game with my dad. I like to travel and visit new places and cultures. I went to Japan on my mission for our church. Before I was married, I was able to travel to Europe and South America for work and pleasure. Visiting Machu Picchu and Piranha fishing on the amazon were definite highlights. I have an MBA and have spent the past 10 years in real estate brokerage, investment and development. I enjoy working with people, analyzing opportunities, and finding solutions to make things better. With the roller coaster ride of the good and the bad, I try to find joy in the journey! I'm married to an amazing woman with 4 incredible kids. Travel and sports have slowed down for me as I make time for my family. I absolutely love seeing my kids experience new things, compete in sports, and excel in music or other interests. Being a husband and father is truly the best!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family, but was encouraged to gain my own personal convictions. While I was young, I never found following the church’s teachings to be real challenging because they provided great eternal perspective and real ways to find peace, structure, and guidance. I am certainly grateful for the example of my parents, sisters and other extended family members who faithfully lived the teachings of Jesus Christ and exhibited great life balance that I always desired. However, it wasn’t until I truly committed to reading the Book of Mormon and praying for guidance that I knew for myself that the teachings were true. The knowledge I’ve been able to gain has added a deeper purpose to my life. The understanding that my family can be together forever is very important to me. I truly value my relationship with Heavenly Father and I know He hears and answers my prayers. Because life throws difficult and challenging experiences to everyone, I feel extremely grateful to know I can find answers, receive direction, and feel peace.

How I live my faith

From a young age, my parents always expressed that their greatest joy and happiness came from 2 main areas – spending quality time with family and serving others. I’ve tried to take this to heart. I don’t think anything can beat quality time with the family doing work, having fun, or helping others. I know how my life has been touched by people who do selfless service, so I try to resist my natural tendency of being selfish with my time and look for opportunities to help and serve those around me. I try to live the golden rule and treat others how I would like to be treated. I believe it’s important to give people the benefit of the doubt and reserve judgment. I feel the world is full of friends I have yet to meet, rather than enemies I want to avoid. Ultimately, I know that as I follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ that my life will have more peace and happiness.
