Hi I'm Kyle

I'm a lover of life I love to make dreams happen most importantly I am a Husband and a Father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in central valley California where i enjoyed the California life style. I grew up playing soccer, Baseball, Football, Roller Hockey, you name it we did it growing up. Both of my grandparents had ranches so we spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors. I went to high school that only had a very small number of LDS students. I was inactive in my high school days but every one knew that I kept the word of wisdom which actually for the most part worked in my favor. Most the parents knew that i did not drink or smoke so if they knew i was going to drive or be there that at least one persons would have a level head. It also helped a great deal when it came time to start dating because parents where more than willing to let me take there daughter out on a date. To this day I still enjoy playing sports, snow and water skiing, I am now married with two little girls living the dream of balancing family, church, and work. I have had my ups and downs but with the eternal perspective that I now have life truly is an amazing journey.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that supported me in whatever I did. My mother was LDS and my father was not. I grew up inactive and attented church only on special occasions. It was not until I was in my early 20's that I was on a careaer path to be a professional Fire fighter that I had a cousin return from a full time mission that I started to realize I wanted more than what I had. I was living what I thought a dream life I was 21 years old I was a fire fighter I had every toy in the book. I worked hard and played harder but I couldn't buy that missing void. i realized that I wanted to find some one that I could spend the rest of my life with. Soon after my cousin returned he had me slowly start going back to church. Before long I was an active member. it was not but a could of years later i met my wife and I knew this is what I was missing. We dated and knew very quickly that we loved each other and wanted to get married, but both of just getting over long relationships played it off and did not want to be labeled as typical mormons and get married a month after meeting. We dated for about 6 months and we were engaged for another 4 before we were married in the Oakland CA temple. It is amazing the blessings that comes with this amazing opportunity to be married for time and eternity. It is amazing to stand back and see our Heavenly father watch over us and bless us. He continually watches over my family and I no matter how bad I mess up I know that I can ask for forgiveness and he will be there. It is a great miracle to see the hand of god in the world. With so much turmoil and negativity out there it can be hard to see all the good and the people out trying to make the world a better place, but rest assure if you look it is all around us just waiting to share the goodness

How I live my faith

I try every day to be an example to all around me especially my family. Having the knowledge that I have and the testimony of a living prophet and knowing that our savior died for our sins gives me hope that I can bring that same light to others. I try to live my life in a way that pleases my heavenly father while at the same time live in the world that we live in. I hope to one day serve a mission with my wife but until then I will continue to be a light and help others become the best possible person they can be. I write my brother in law who is on a mission and I tell him to remember who he is working for. I think we all need to remember who we are working for and what we are working towards.
