Hi I'm Monique

I'm a wife, a mother, an engineer, and a lawyer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of three children and grew up primarily in California. I am married to a wonderful man, and I'm a full-time mom to three beautiful girls. I also work part time as an attorney. Before obtaining my law degree, I worked as an engineer for a large airplane manufacturer. I enjoy running, hiking, science and the outdoors. But, most of all, I love being a mother to my girls.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me true peace and happiness. I believe that our Heavenly Father has a divine plan for all of us. My life did not follow the same path as many of my friends who married and had families well before I did. Through my experiences, I have learned that the Gospel is for everyone, regardless of their background or position in life. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon; I know that it is true and that it testifies of Christ. I have a testimony of the Atonement, and I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I also know that through the blessings of the temple, my family is eternal. I am a Mormon because I know it is the path that my Heavenly Father wants me to follow.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis as I strive to live the way the Jesus taught. I have also had many opportunities to serve within the church. I have taught and shared my testimony with young children, teenagers, and the women of our church. Serving in the church has strengthened my testimony. As I teach or serve, I also learn and grow.
