Hi I'm Don

I grew up in Utah, served a full-time mission in England, met and married in Arizona, have three wonderful kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 23 years, and have two children. I met my wife in Arizona. I lived there while trying to become a golf professional. We married a short time later. I never became a golf professional, but wouldn't change a thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I know we have a living prophet today who can lead and guide us, just like in ancient times. On countless occasions, I have felt the comforting influence of the Holy Ghost and His witness of the truthfulness of this Gospel. I know the Savior lived and died for me and for every other person who follows Him.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by becoming more like my Savior, in doing what I think He would want me to do. I strive to serve others, including members of my church, community, and family. In 2006 we quasi-adopted a young man who had experienced heinous childhood. To this day, his father is completely unknown to him, including a name. His biological mother has been an addict since before 'our son' was born. We took him in and loved him. This fall, he is getting married to a beautiful young woman. He has asked that my wife and I stand in his line as his parents.
