Hi I'm Brandi.

I’m an educator, a dancer, world traveler, a favorite aunt, and I’m a Mormon

About Me

I am passionate about the Gospel, my friends and family, chocolate, and the kiddos I work with at school and at my dance studio. I love small shiny gadgets that do cool things, checking things off lists, outdoor adventures, and anything purple. I love to travel! I've been to 29 countries, and I have list of at least 29 more I’d like to visit. I believe that everyone should have a current passport – you just never know when you might need/want to skip the country. I am always up for a random adventure, and I keep a weekend bag packed just in case a last-minute opportunity should arise! I am the favorite aunt to two beautiful nieces and 7 other “adopted” nieces & nephews who just happen to be my best friend's kids. I' a mid 30's single gal who still hold out hope that my prince charming is out there somewhere. In the meantime, I'm living life to it's fullest, and doing my best to find God's will for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me a profound sense of peace and purpose in this life that I have not found anywhere, or in anything else. The Gospel plan tells me who I am, where I came from, why I’m here and where I’m going. Knowing that I am a daughter of God and that I have a loving brother in my Savior Jesus Christ is a gift beyond measure. The teachings of the Gospel and the Plan of salvation are my anchor through life’s storms, and are my refuge when times are hard. Life is not easy, but is joyful because of what I know, and because I’m a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by getting up every day and trying to discover what God’s purpose is for me that day. I try hard to live the commandments in small quiet ways, and I strive to be better little by little. I am far from perfect, but I have a perfect knowledge of how repentance can work in my life, and I use it daily. I am blessed to now people from all walks of life, and I do my best to be an example of Christ no matter who I interact with. I don’t push my beliefs on people, and I don’t argue with those who don’t believe as I do. I simply try to live the best life that I can, and my greatest wish is that the people who I know and love will know Christ because they know me.
