Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading a good book, learning new things about cultures and the world, being outside, and watching movies. I used to attend a school in San Francisco but moved to Provo for a more spiritually uplifting environment because I really needed it. I am so glad that I have been blessed with a wonderful family that loves to spend time with me and I thank Heavenly Father every day for that.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I always struggled with going to activities to help build my ward family and gaining a testimony. I believed that one day I would probably go inactive, but when I finally left home and dealt with the world, I realized the gospel is the most precious thing I had in my life. The gospel is what has kept my family together through the trials we have had. I am grateful for the gospel in my life everyday. Without it, I know I would not be happy and I wouldn't be able to find joy in my life. I will never let myself believe that I don't need it in my life ever again, Heavenly Father has proven to me that he looks out for me and has a plan for me and I am determined to follow it.

How I live my faith

In my ward I used to serve as a fellowship and reactivation co-chair. I truly believe that I was called to this because Heavenly Father knows my experiences and knows what I need to grow in the church. I know that when you truly seek the gospel with an open heart and a contrite spirit, you too can be blessed with all the blessings of the gospel. I love the support that I am able to have from every person in my ward, it is so nice to know that I have hometeachers and visiting teachers that care about me and I am glad that I can contribute to it also. I currently serve as my Relief Societ's President and I am blessed to know I am helping the women of my relief society grow and develop themselves. I love to help and serve others and I believe that through my serviceI can show my Heavenly Father that I am grateful for the atonement and his sacrifice for all of us.
