Hi I'm Brian

I'm an Air Force pilot. I have the most amazing wife and two boys. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

If ony I could make a living out of being at home with my wife and two boys. But flying airplanes for the Air Force doesn't always permit that. I am grateful for this country I call home, and grateful for the chance I have to serve. I'm counting down the days until my boys are old enough to take fishing and camping and all the outdoor things I love. But running around the park with them and playing ball is great for now. I love playing sports (when I can find the time) and I threw the javelin in college. I've lived in Australia and Hong Kong, and currently fly around the world as a C-17 pilot. I also love learning about other cultures and I speak Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith in a Heavenly Father who knows me personally and who wants me to grow and be happy gives meaning and direction to my life. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because the teachings of Christ provides answers my questions about the purpose of life. The Church has brought me closer to Christ, and through Christ example I have learned to make the most out of what God has given me. I am a Mormon because my life is more complete, meaningful, and happier than it would be without the Gospel of Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best husband and father I can be. I also serve in my local church as an assistant to our congregation's Bishop (similar to a pastor). I help to oversee the Sunday School, Boy Scout, and Young Women programs in our congregation. Being able to spend time with the youth has been a great experience, and I hope to be as good an influence in their lives as the leaders who influenced my life for the better in high school.
