Hi I'm Tiffany

I'm a Mormon. Grew up in Washington State. Married my husband in the Portland OR Temple, we have three kids.

About Me

I am a mom of three kids. I have a part-time job working as a lunch lady at a high school. My kids are teenagers, but wonderful. Their activities keep me busy. We have a dog and 2 cats, I just consider them three more kids. We are trying to grow a garden but the weather isn't cooperating, so we'll see what we get. I never finished college, think I am 1/2 a semester away from an Associate in Business Mgmt. I like to read, sew, crochet, and cook. Not that I have much time for any of that.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a member family. We were sorta inactive as kids, if something fun came up on Sundays we would do it. As I got into High School, as a family we were better about attending regularly. I haven't been interested in searching out other churches, I feel that I am where I am supposed to be. A Mormon, a member of the LDS church. The guidance and counsel we receive from our leaders is correct and righteous, I always feel that is what I am supposed to be doing.

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the 10-11 yr old girls. We meet twice a month for activities. Some include being crafty, playing games, studying scripture. Things that will help the girls to create habits that are uplifting and good for them. I also help with the teenage girls for camping and sometimes sports. At camp I help with the food and kitchen duties. I love to walk through camp and visit with the girls and see how they are doing. I also enjoy meeting once a month on Saturdays with other women from our ward to work on projects, sewing/crafts. We bring whatever we each have to work on and meet at the church and chat for several hours and get a lot accomplished. Another meeting that I go to is an evening one with the ladies of our ward where we have mini lessons on a variety of subjects : homemaking, self-improvement, family stuff, spiritual things as well.
