Hi I'm Paul

Hi, I was born in Idaho Falls Idaho. I am a Insurance Agent in Washington. I love having a big family and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on farm in Mattawa, Washington. I love woodworking and have made a lot of the furniture in my home. I enjoy singing and dance. My family has a fun tradition of singing and entertaining at the local retirement home for the holidays. I have six children ranging from 3 to 16. Although our home is busy and very often crazy with all the things going on, I truly feel that my family is my greatest blessing.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a young boy, I wanted to know if the Book of Mormon was true and if Joseph Smith was a true Prophet and if Christ really knew me. I wanted to know for myself and wanted to feel his love. I decided to read the Book of Mormon, to study it for myself. I still remember the feeling I received from God when I prayed for an answer. It was a calm, sweet feeling of love. I try to keep that feeling with me in my life everyday. I feel that same feeling in Church, in the Temple and in my home when we serve each other. I married my childhood sweetheart and best friend in the Temple. The day that I married my sweetheart, I made promises in the Temple to be true to my wife and family, and I was promised that if I kept the commandments that me and my family could be together forever. I know if I keep those promises that my family can be mine forever and we can be a forever family. Those promises help me to remember what matters in life. To me, Heaven is not Heaven without my family. I know when I pray, that God hears me. Just like when He answered my prayers about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith when I was young boy. I have a long way to go. I am far from perfect, but I try everyday to become better and more like what Christ would have me be.

How I live my faith

I served a 2 year mission in Las Vegas Nevada and have enjoyed seeing the gospel come into someone's life ever since. I also love to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe Christ sent us to this earth to serve one another. Serving my family and those around me makes me happy. I have a favorite saying: "If it's worth doing, its worth doing right. If it's worth doing right, then it's worth doing right the first time." Living my life like Christ, brings me and my family closer together. I tell my wife and children I love them everyday.
