Hi I'm Karen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 4 children. My hobbies include reading, knitting and running. I also enjoy volunteering at my children's elementary school by assisting in my children's classrooms and creating the school yearbook. I also love to spend time with my family at home or especially on vacation!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a Mormon family. I gained my own testimony of the gospel while I was attending Brigham Young University. I never had any doubts to what I was taught, but when I was taking a Book of Mormon class I decided to take Moroni's challenge found in Moroni 10:3-5. I sincerely prayed to know for myself if all the things I had been taught throughout my childhood were true. After sincere prayer I received my answer and I knew without a doubt that I belonged to the true church of Jesus Christ!! Through regular scripture study, church attendance and temple attendance, I am able to continue to strengthen my testimony as well as my relationship with my Savior.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by serving where I am needed. I was recently serving with the children in my ward. My responsibility was to teach these young ones the gospel through music. I now serve in the youth program and I have the pleasure of working with the 14-15 year old girls. I look forward to the wonderful activities and experiences I will be able to share with these great young women. I also am a visiting teacher to three ladies in my ward and enjoy spending time with these women and getting to know them.
