Hi I'm Jordan

I try to stay optimistic, I play the guitar, I love music, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people. I love music. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I began playing the guitar when I was 15 years old, and I have loved it ever since I started. I enjoy all genres of music but my normal preferences are more metal and rock, which is the largest influence on my playing style. After only two years of playing I joined a metal band consisting of some of my closest friends, we've played a number of local shows and hope to some day be able to share our music with many more people and for many more years. I try to keep an optimistic attitude about me and I love to help everyone around me in large and/or small, subtle ways. The gospel helps me lead a happier, more fulfilling life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I've been an official member since I was 8 years old. Even so, I didn't always travel the straight and narrow. I've made many mistakes, and I have learned many lessons from them. It wasn't until I began taking LDS seminary classes in ninth grade, and followed the wonderful examples of some of my close friends that I became truly converted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The truth of this church has been confirmed to me by the Holy Ghost time and time again since I was converted (had a change of heart). Now I find great joy in learning more about Christ and His Church, and serving my fellow brothers and sisters.

How I live my faith

I am an active member in my church, and I have been called by a prophet of God to serve in the Richmond Virginia Mission! (May 09, 2012- May 09, 2014). I served in my ward, (area) as a Nursery leader - a class for children between the ages of 18 mo. to 3. I enjoy teaching and helping children, and that was a good learning experience for me, as well as a good service that I was able to provide for my ward family. I try to serve those around me, and stand as an example to them.
