Hi I'm Sam.

I have a wonderful wife and we have three beautiful girls. I'm a CEO and lead singer in our company rock band. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have worked in the E-commerce industry for 14 years, having served in executive positions for several major retailers. Currently I am CEO of an E-commerce/catalog retailer, and I love my job. I enjoy seeing how the Internet has revolutionized retailing and being part of the dramatic transformation technology is driving. I have been married to my wonderful wife for 23 years and we have three beautiful daughters. I have always enjoyed music, having played piano, clarinet and tenor sax up until my freshman year at BYU. I enjoy singing karaoke and I formed a company rock band where I serve as lead singer and front man. My family and I enjoy traveling and we love to vacation in warm weather locales such as Maui and St. John. I enjoy skiing, surfing, boogie boarding, and working out at the gym.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church, served a two-year mission to Bolivia, and graduated from BYU. I'm a Mormon because I have received innumerable personal revelations from my Heavenly Father through the power of the Holy Ghost that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true and living church. The church has Jesus Christ as its head, has the same organization that Christ utilized when he established his church here on earth, and has the same priesthood. Other churches may have some portions of the truth, but there is only one church which has the fulness of the gospel and the priesthood keys which will allow me to live with my family not only in this life, but throughout the eternities. I'm a Mormon because I know that this church is true, and the reason I know that is because I have prayed to my Heavenly Father and he has answered my prayers throught the power of the Holy Ghost. I'm a Mormon because I want to live with my family forever, and because I married my wife in the Salt Lake City temple and our children have been sealed to us, I have that opportunity, if I remain steadfast and endure to the end.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good husband and father in our home. Nothing is more important to me than my family, and I truly believe that no success can compensate for failure in the home. I make sure that we have daily family prayer and scripture study together as a family, and that we have Family Home Evening once a week. We attend our church services each Sunday together as a family. I serve in the High Priest group leadership in our ward, and my responsibility is for the mission of the church related to redeeming the dead. I also strive to set a good example at work of how a faithful Mormon lives, and I do volunteer work with some of the high school music programs.
