Hi I'm Sarah

I love the experience of life! I'm an active learner, I love to cook, craft, and converse! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sarah and I truly love learning from the experiences of life! The good, the bad, and the ugly. I am so thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I try to live it the best that I can each day. I am not perfect, but I know I can work on faults that I have. I am the youngest of four, born in Ohio, raised in Salt Lake, and now living in Arizona. I have to say I LOVE the desert! I am truly thankful for our mom, who after her divorce from our dad, trusted the Lord enough and moved our little family out to Utah for a fresh start. I loved growing up in Utah! I love those mountains and all of the Temples! What a blessing it is to be a member of Christ's church and to partake of the goodness that is in Temple work! I used to take my camera when I was in high school and go wander around Temple Square during the springtime and take pictures of all the flowers. What sweet memories! I invite all people to go to the Temple, even if it's to just walk around! There is such peace there! I love spending time with my family, we are spread out, but they are some of my favorite people in the world! We laugh a lot! Mainly at each other, but still, it's fun! I can't wait to be a wife and a mother, but I am waiting patiently and learning all that I can before that happens. I really enjoy cooking, floral arranging, crafting, and I LOVE nature! I'm a Cosmetologist, who will be making a career change and heading to college full time this fall for business! I love new life adventures!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but because of my own lack of testimony and understanding I didn't fully live up to the standards of the Gospel until my early 20's. The time when I made the decision to LIVE the Gospel of Jesus Christ was an "ah ha" moment for me. I knew that it wasn't a decision that I would have to make just the once, but a decision that I would have to continually make each and every day. I am now an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know how the "world" feels and I don't like it. Because of some choices in my past, I am able to truly see the stark difference of living in the world, and not of it. I know that true JOY comes from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know and love me! And that they want the best for me. That decision, in my early 20's was the best decision I could have ever made. Ever! Life isn't always easy, but because I pray, read my scriptures, attend sacrament meeting and other church classes, partake in Temple service, try to serve in my community and work hard at building family relationships and friendships, I know that I will be OK, even on those days that are hard because I know my worth and I know who's daughter I am.

How I live my faith

In my ward, the church that I am assigned to go to because of where I live, I have the great opportunity to teach the 5-6 year old class! Oh man, is it fun! To see the Light of Christ in the eyes of children is amazing! I truly see why the scriptures teach us, "to be as little children..." They have this ability to just love and to forgive! It's very humbling.
