Hi I'm Matt

I'm from Tucson, AZ. Work as a Rocket Scientist with a wife and three kids. I enjoy basketball and baseball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Beautiful wife Father of three. Enjoys computers, basketball, baseball, softball, racquetball Masters in Mechanical Engineering from BYU Work for Raytheon Missile Systems on ballistic missile interceptors

Why I am a Mormon

Main reason I'm a Mormon is because it makes me happy. The lifestyle, community and people in the Mormon faith are wonderful. I know that my kids will be raised up well in a world where so many things are trying to bring you down.

How I live my faith

I take a practical approach to being a Mormon. I try not to get caught up in the philosophical things, but apply the principles that bring me and my family happiness. I have served in many capacities in the church. I was president of many of the youth organizations growing up. When I was 19, I served a volunteer mission in the Massachusetts area with Dale Murphy as a president for a time. When I returned home, I served in a variety of callings from music director to president of a large group of men. Currently, I'm serving as a "Stake High Councilor." A position that assists with a number of the local congregations in the area where I live.
