Hi I'm Tennille

I'm an Alaskan, who loves the outdoors. I'm a family history enthusiast and I love to learn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay at home mommy who loves to learn and play. I received two degrees from the University of Idaho and hope to go back to receive my Masters degree. I love being involved within the community I live in. I serve on our local Parks & Recreation Commission as a volunteer. One of our projects was to improve bicycle safety and update our city code. I enjoy being outside in the mountains, I love the rain. I like to camp, hike and go for bike rides.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. When I was about 13 years old, I wanted to know for myself if what I had learned was true. I read the Book of Mormon, then prayed to know if it was true. I was overcome with a feeling of peace and assurance that the Book of Mormon was true and that the Gospel had been restored to the earth. My life hasn't been perfect, but I can tell it has been easier as I follow God's commandments. I have been blessed in so many ways.

How I live my faith

I love to serve. When I was 21, I served a mission for the church. I loved teaching others about the gospel and helping them gain a testimony of their own. I currently serve within the Women's organization. I enjoy visiting with women each month, making sure they are doing okay.
