Hi I'm Lindsay

I am a Mom of three and a Doctors wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of four who grew up in a single parent home. My mother was an angel who worked endlessly to provide for us children. She worked so hard to raise us in a christlike atmosphere, that as adults we have continued to push forward and excel in life. The gospel has played a huge part in the successes of all of my siblings and myself. With a little bit of give and take and alot of teamwork my husband and I helped support eachother through college. Was it stressful? Yes! Was it Crazy? At times, Yes! Did we wonder how we were going to pay for it all? Yes! Yes, Yes, Yes... These were the questions that consumed our thoughts. With Christ on our side and through much prayer and temple attendance, we moved forward one step at a time and allowed him to direct our paths. With much anticipation and hardwork, we are where we are today. Zach is a medical physician and I am a stay at home mom to our three beautiful children. There have always been trials, and there always will be. But with the Lord here to guide us, and the gospel of Jesus Christ to light the way, we know that we can make it through anything as eternal companions.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is what has always kept me going through thick and thin. When I look back on my life, the hardest times were always the times that I was also the most blessed. When I was doing the work of the Lord and heeding his promptings, fulfilling my callings and taking the initiative to serve others, that's when things fell into place. At one point in my husbands medical training we felt swamped with school work, kids, church callings and just life in general. I remember earnestly praying for strength to continue forward in the gospel. The Lord answered our prayers in a unique way. He gave us more responsibilities in the church. When we stopped complaining and went to work we were blessed ten fold. I am who I am today because of Christ. Everything I am, everything I have, and everything I will ever be is because of a loving Heavenly Father who loves me that much to entrust me with such responsibilities in his church, such as raising his Children.

How I live my faith

I have served in various church callings including my most recent as a Stake Primary President. I had the opportunity to work with other leaders who associated with the youth. We worked together to enrich their testimonies of the gospel and to create a lasting memory for the youth and their leaders to live their lives in a way that they would have the opportunity to return to live with Heavenly Father one day. I am currently a nursery leader who works with the little kids. It's fun to see their faces light up when you hold up a picture of Jesus and they immediately know who it is, or when you sing a song about being a child of God. The kids are special to be with in this setting because of their unique relationship with Christ. They are still that much closer to the other side then we are as adults. I know that they have a special relationship with Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.
