Hi I'm Margaret

I'm a software tester by day and a caregiver by night. I'm a wife, a mother, a sister and a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife and care for my husband who has Multiple Sclerosis that is the late stages. He has had M.S. since 1975. I work to support the family and am blessed to have help with his care by amazing people. When I'm not working, I sing in the Colorado Momon Chorale choir, I garden and recently am learning to paint with watercolors. What fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the LDS Church in 1987 after being contacted by an elderly Missionary couple who were serving in the Denver area. I was drawn to them and the concepts they shared the first time we talked and as I read the Book of Mormon, I found such peace and so many of the questions I'd had all my life were answered. The simple gospel principles I learned then and continue to learn and embrace have changed my life and given me hope for the life to come. Life is not easy but I have peace about my husband's illness and know that this life is just for a short time and we will be together again and he will be whole.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a Librarian in our Ward so I get to assist teachers and others to be prepared to share their lessons. I enjoy helping and meeting members and getting to know them.
