Hi I'm Stewart

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 69 years old, married, have two children, and three grandchildren, I served twenty years in the Navy as a Electronics Technician onboard Nuclear Powered Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarines. After retiring from the Navy I worked for Eastman Kodak as a Field Engineer. I retired at age 55.

Why I am a Mormon

While serving in the Nave I met a family who were Mormons. Don and I were stationed aboard a submarine together and he was my supervisor. Between his example and how I felt in their home I knew that was how I wanted to live my life. I met a Mormon girl and that started me into investigating the Church. It did not work out with the girl but it did with the Church. I was baptized in Norfolk, VA. on December 1st, 1973 and confirmed a member of the Church on December 2nd,1973.

How I live my faith

I am striving to live my life by keeping the commandments and covenants that I have entered into with Heavenly Father. I have mostly served in leadership positions in the Church. I am an ordained Bishop and served on two different Stake High Councils. I am currently serving a Welfare Services Mission at the Transit and Homeless Service Office at the Mesa, AZ Bishop's Storehouse. I also serve as a full time ordnance worker at the Arizona Mesa Temple.
