Hi I'm Martin

I'm a father, aerospace engineer, and I have a Ph.D. in astrophysics, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of 4 and an aerospace engineer with a major satellite imaging company. I enjoy spending time with my family and renovating our house.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it has brought me to a close relationship with God. The principles taught at our church, when applied at home, lead to a sense of peace and happiness that can't be met by any other means. I've seen it work in my life and thousands of others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working on a daily basis to fulfil God's desires for me and my family. This involves being a tool in his hands to help his fellow children here on the earth find the same happiness that I have found. The basis of this happiness is living God's commandments and seeking to fulfil his will and desire for you in your life.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

The older I get, the more I have observed in my own personal life that there are no coincidences. There is a design, a fabric and an underlying foundation of belief that provides meaning to my existence. Each particular trial or hardship I face has brought me unique growth opportunities that have helped refine me into a better coworker, a better husband, a better father -- a better person. Because of this, I value the hardships as much as the good times I have gone through. I know there is a grand design that testifies there is a God, not just in the universe beyond this Earth, but in my own personal existence. It has meant all the difference to me. Show more Show less
