Hi I'm Sara

I'm a wife and mother. I was born and raised in good ol' Bountiful, UT. I'm an avid runner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Bountiful, UT. I worked my way through college and married the man of my dreams. I never dreamed of being a stay at home mom. I always thought, that's just not for me. I always wanted children but I always planned on having a career too. I loved my career but when my husband and I got pregnant with our first child I knew home was the place to be. Now three years later we have two little girls and I get to be with them every second of the day. Sometime between the diaper changes, bath time, story time, and time-outs, I strap my little ones in the jogger and hit the road 6 days a week. To date I've completed numerous 5k's, two 10k's, two half-marathon's and am signed up to do my first marathon in two months. Running gives me brief moments of time when I can look around at the beauty and joy God has given us. I love my little family and everything my life has become.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have felt the love of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ by choosing to follow the counsel my Faith gives me. Though I'm not perfect and this is not a perfect world, my life has been blessed by being a Mormon. In this ever confusing world the guidelines we are taught in the LDS Religion help us navigate through everything we are bombarded with each day and it helps us find the path to long term happiness. Isn't that what everybody wants? Happiness, true happiness? That's what I want so why would I choose to do anything that will only bring me pain and suffering in the end?

How I live my faith

I live my faith by practicing what I preach. I attend my meetings each and every week. We teach our children how to be like Jesus Christ and how to be loving and kind towards others. I serve my community ward by teaching the youth Sunday school lessons about our doctrine and leaders. I try to serve where I'm needed. I pray every day to my Heavenly Father and express my gratitude for all that I have. I owe everything to my Heavenly Father and my brother, Jesus Christ.
