Hi I'm Erinn

I am a nurse, I married my childhood sweetheart, and I love a good rainstorm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I came to Arizona as a teenager with my family. I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 16. I am married to a man I have known since I was 6 years old. I have six children, and two step children. I am a nurse. I became a nurse because I love caring for others, and because I love to meet new and interesting people!

Why I am a Mormon

As a teenager I was taught by wonderful missionaries in my home. I loved attending church, and gained a testimony of the gospel and I was baptized. But, as life went on, and I experienced some trying times, I struggled to know what I really knew and believed. So I took it upon myself to really study and learn about Christ. What was He like? What were His teachings? By attending church, and reading about His life I came to know that He is the Son of God. When I gained a testimony of Christ, I decided that I wanted to know for certain if the Book of Mormon was really scripture. Did Christ really appear to people after His resurrection? It would make sense if He had, and I really wanted to know if that was true. So, I read the Book of Mormon. I really studied, and I prayed. A wonderful, peaceful, strong and steady feeling came over me. This feeling touched deep down in my heart, and I knew that this scripture was from the Lord. This renewed my desire to attend the temple, and keep the Lord's covenants. I know that this is the Lord's Church. Because of my testimony I want to keep the commandments of the Lord. I know that the Atonement has cleansing power, and that through the Lord we can gain eternal life.

How I live my faith

Service to others is how I can show the Lord that I willing to follow Him, and in turn thank him for my blessings. I have served in many ways in this church. From adult leadership responsibilities, to teaching very young children. Right now I teach 11 year old's. I love being able to study the bible, and teach the children what the Lord spent His life trying to teach us. I also serve the women in my ward by visiting 2 women in their homes once a month. I have grown to love these women, and the opportunity I have to serve the Lord by doing this personal watch-care. By serving in this church, I know I am being the Lord's servant.
