Hi I'm David

I grew up around Columbus, Ohio, studied to be a math teacher, am 6'8" and don't play basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm David. I'm from Ohio, a husband and father of three girls. I like to read and play the piano. I work in market research. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon and have chosen to be fully active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that it is Christ's true church. Following his teachings and serving his children has been more correlated with peace and happiness in my life than anything else I have chosen to do. Membership in this church means that I know God has a plan for me and that I can grow and improve each day.

How I live my faith

Living my faith means I try to be a better husband and father, meaning more understanding, patient, and loving. It means I talk to my Father in heaven frequently in prayer and try to improve those aspects of my life that need improving, putting my faith in Christ. Knowing we are all children of God has motivated me to volunteer in the community in a few different ways: in an organization called Strengthening Families where parents come to have conversations about raising children, as an after-school tutor at a local school, and as a Sunday School teacher at church.
