Hi I'm Aaron

I grew up in Northern Virginia. I teach college students. I study economics. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am finishing my PhD in economics at the University of Virginia. I like looking at new ways to model behavior at the macro level. I enjoy playing basketball and I really enjoy watching NBA basketball. I got married in March of 2011 and love this new stage of life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me as a Mormon and I have never strayed from the church. I served a two year mission for the church and as a missionary I became convinced that the teachings of the church are the true and correct teachings of Jesus Christ. As I have practiced these teachings and shared them with others I have experienced the greatest joys in my life. My greatest satisfaction is the feeling that I am doing exactly what the Savior wants me to do.

How I live my faith

I participate in our local congregation by visiting other members in their homes each month. As I've made these visits I've developed great friendships and I have found ways to serve others. I also publish a monthly newsletter for members of all the congregations in our area and sometimes I speak during our worship services.
