Hi I'm Jennie

I'm a photographer, a wife, a lover of all things fruity. I am a mormon

About Me

I am 20 years old and married to my best friend. We are in the beginning of building a real estate investment business and really excited to see where this adventure can take us. I am currently working full time to put my husband through school and when i get a moment to myself I LOVE to read and practice my photography skills. I am hoping to one day have a photography business that I could work at full time. I have been married for 2 years and absolutely love it. I met my husband when I was 17 years old and that definitely was a surprise to him! What can I say, you can't control when you are going to meet your soul mate. I have an amazing family who is SO supportive. Being the bottom of 4 older brothers was definitely a different experience. I was always the little girl who wanted to participate in every scout activity possible! My brothers have been so good to me and are so kind. Even on our worst days where we yell and someone goes home with their feelings hurt, I always know they would do anything for me. My parents are my rock. They are the reason I am who I am and I am proud to call myself their child! I can't wait to have my own children one day and hope that I can be a portion like them because then I know I will have been successful

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in high school, I decided to adventure against the guidance of my leaders, parents, and teachers. I experiemented and dug myself a nice little hole. My junior year of high school I hit rock bottom. My parents urged me to meet with the bishop and resolve my issues and have a change of heart. I took their advice and met with the bishop. I realized as I met with him, that I was not in a happy place and was very depressed. I decided it was time for a change and turned to the only person I knew could help lift me up. I began to pray and read my scriptures, because I knew, if anyone would understand what I was going through it would be Christ. He has suffered every pain I have and understands every emotion that has coursed through my veins. As a member of the mormon faith, I believe that families are forever. There is no other place that you are GUARANTEED you will be together for ever through eternal marriage. I know I will see the family I have lost. I know that though many of my brothers are no longer active, thanks to my parents being sealed, I will still see them again. I KNOW that Christ, and Heavenly Father are two separate beings. They are of one mind and one purpose but both have bodies, bodies that my body has been created in likeness to. I am a mormon because I know that there were others who believed in Christ in different lands. I know that Christ came to them after he was resurrected and blessed them just like in Jerusalem. I am a mormon because I believe that Heavenly Father wants us to stilll be guided in this day and age and so He has put a prophet on this earth today to lead and guide us.

How I live my faith

I strive to do everything I can to live my faith and be a good example of the church. I keep clean language and try to not gossip. I attend meetings regularly and strive to fulfill my calling not only by going through the motions but by using prayer, temple attendance, and scripture study to keep me in the right mindset and to prepare me for what the Lord needs me to do or say. I attend the temple regularly to remind myself of the covenants I have made with the Lord. I believe that even when I feel like I am not the best qualified for a calling, I know that the Lord doesn't always call the qualified, but he ALWAYS qualifies the called. I love to answer questions about the Church and things I don't know I always refer to the missionaries. I pray for missionary experiences and hope that I can be a good example. I always want people to see me in a good light so that when they hear I am a mormon they can see the Church in a good light as well. Family is a huge way to live this faith because EVERYTHING is based on Family! I cant wait to have my own children who can be examples of the gospel as well! I hope I can raise them to be so grateful for this faith as I am! I want them to know that we are all children of God and we are so so so loved! I know that Christ died not for men, but for each MAN. If each man had been the only man made, He would have done no less. I love God. And He loves me. I am His child! And I would never shove it down your throat, but MAN, if you do not know that you are His child and SO SO SO SO SO loved by Him, you are MISSING OUT.
