Hi I'm Ashley

I grew up in Washington state but live in Colorado currently. I am a wife and stay-at-mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of one little girl and expecting the second child soon. I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mother. I enjoy being active. I really enjoy running and hiking. We live near the mountains and love to spend time there and experience the peaceful setting the mountains provide as often as we can. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my wonderful husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know with all of my heart that it is true. I have had too many experiences in my life that have witnessed of its truthfulness to deny it. I know that it is the same church that Jesus Christ himself organized when He was on the earth. I know that He is the one leading the church through His prophet, which at this time, is Thomas S. Monson. What a wonderful blessing to have a living prophet on the earth today that can see things coming that we can't. I know that if we follow the prophet's teachings that we will be safe from the many storms that are ahead. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and who I can turn to for guidance in my life through prayer. I know that in the Church of Jesus Christ are all the ordinances with their associated covenants that we need to be worthy and able to return to live with our Father in Heaven. I know that the church has given me an eternal perspective in life so I am not tossed around with every wind of doctrine that the world teaches. I have found so much joy and happiness as I have come to know the Lord and keep His commandments.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church. I am serving with the young women (ages 12-18) in my ward right now. They are a lot of fun. It is enjoyable getting to know the girls. We have activities every week that we help carry out. We help teach and participate in the Sunday young women's meeting. I also get to visit personally a couple of women in the ward and get to know them. I feel so blessed to serve because the relationships that I have formed with others is a great blessing in my life.
