Hi I'm Lori

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Idaho. I have lived in Minnesota and Nebraska. I am a wife and mother. I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I am the Mother of two children. They are practically grown now and my husband and I are looking at being empty-nesters. I love to do all things crafty and have been known to read for days at a time. I plan on attending college next fall (hopefully I'll know what I want to be when I grow up).

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into this church when I was 8 years old. I didn't chose to be an active participating member until my youngest child was about 2. I had taken the missionary discussions with my husband and decided that this is the Church of Christ. I had a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel and still do. Sometimes it is hard to avoid temptation but I remember the covenants I made at baptism and make the choice to honor those covenants. I love the peace that the Gospel brings into my life. I would never do anything to lose that feeling.

How I live my faith

I help teach the youth in our church. I really enjoy working with the young women. They keep me young. I enjoy getting to know them and helping them work through their problems. We celebrate their victories and are there to strengthen each other.
