Hi I'm John

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or, as many people use as a slang term, a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happily-married father of one (soon to be two!). My wife and I met and married where we went to (undergraduate) college, Brigham Young University- Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm not a Mormon. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mormon is an incorrect label/title, and is slang term that often carries a lot of negative stereotypes and misconceptions. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know it is the true church of Christ on the earth today, and contains the complete fullness of truth and authority (priesthood) necessary to fully live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in order to follow God's plan, be saved (with my family), and redeemed from death through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try my best to love and serve others around me, especially and starting with my family. I paid for and gave up two years of my life to serve as a full-time missionary in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving (both regular volunteer community service and informal service) any and all I could.
