Hi I'm Jerusha

I'm a Daughter of God. I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and chiropractor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a very small town. I was very involved in school and other activities. I married my high school sweetheart. I am a mother of three. I love being a mother. My children are the highlight of my day, every day! I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, and extended family. We like to be active outdoors by camping, fishing, and hiking together. I also enjoy sewing and quilting. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic. I am passionate about serving my community and helping people find better health. My favorite part of my career is educating others which empowers them to make healthier decisions.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my family and I want to live with them for an eternity. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only church on earth that has the fullness of the Gospel. We have a living prophet on earth today. We have the same preisthood that was on the earth while Jesus Christ walked on this earth. We have temples where we can perform ordinances and be sealed to our families for eternity. Families can be together forever!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being optimistic and loving others.  I also live my faith by serving in the church. I currently help in the primary/ childrens' sunday school program. I love teaching children. It is so rewarding to see their minds start turning as they learn of basic gospel principles. The children inspire me. I am always amazed by their knowledge of the scriptures and their enthusiasm for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Jerusha
Mormon women are vibrant and passionate women. They are leaders and examples in thier homes, communities, and churches. A womans role is primarily to raise and rear children. This is great honor. More honorable than any other possible responsibilities. The ability to sucessfully raise righteous and honorable children changes the world for the better. Being a mother is a great joy. Men and women are equal, just different. We were devinely created physically different for a different earthly responsibilities. Both equally important. Show more Show less
