Hi I'm Nick

I grew up in California, I love my wife, my children, and jeeps. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a husband and father. I am currently serving in the military, I have deployed to Iraq and am looking forward to transitioning into civilian life. I have a BS in Criminal Justice and enjoy the great outdoors. I love jeeps and spending time camping, fishing, shooting, and the occasional Xbox game.

Why I am a Mormon

Very simply because the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings everlasting life and happiness. I'm not a perfect man or father, but I try very hard to learn from the example that Jesus Christ was for all of us and obey his counsel in my daily life. I have prayed and felt comforted by the Holy Ghost, I have asked for miracles to occur and been witness to their completion. My family was inactive as I grew up but I was very fortunate to be mentored by someone close to me as I was a teenager and he taught me much about what it means to be a real disciple of Christ. As I learned to obey my Father in Heavens will I found that my life was better and I was happier. All that I have I owe to my Father in Heaven and this Gospel. It IS true.

How I live my faith

I serve as president of our local youth program, primarily over the boys. I am responsible for overseeing our weekly activities as well as all instruction of gospel topics during Sunday services. I get to organize both instruction as well as volunteer work and it is very rewarding for me. Additionally I get to be involved in the boys scouts program and help impart alot of survival and backpacking skills to the young men. We get to serve the elderly and infirm and practice the use of our Priesthood on a daily basis.
