Hi I'm Wayne

I was raised in Washington State, USA. I'm a Computer Systems Engineer, I'm a Father, Grandfather and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my hobbies include photography, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. I received my Associates degree 30 years ago and I've always wanted to have a 4 year degree. Currently I am completing my Bachelors degree in a mostly on-line experience along with working full time. My wife and I have 3 grown and married children and are enjoying our first grandchild. It's a wonderful time in our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church but gained a strong testimony through my service as a full-time missionary along with other opportunities to serve. My parents set an example of love and service as I was growing up and that's part of why I am an active member of the Church today. I have felt the promptings of the Holy Ghost in my life as I make daily decisions and this has reinforced my testimony that my Heavenly Father loves me. This knowledge is a constant strength as I face the daily challenges of life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily praying, reading the scriptures, and actively participating in the Church. My wife and I share daily prayers, and reading the scriptures which has been a part of our home since our children were very small. These simple activities are a regular strength to us and help to keep us close to our Father in Heaven and his Son, Jesus Christ. I serve as a leader in the Sunday School and help support the teaching of members of our congregation that are at least 12 years old. I also visit members of our church on a monthly basis to strengthen them through teaching gospel principals.
