Hi I'm Eric
I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm a father of three beautiful young girls and the husband of a lovely woman. I'm currently a design engineer for a major communications company. I hired on with them after serving for four years as a military analyst in the US Army. We currently call Texas home, and we've fallen in love with the Texas Hill Country. I love music, especially independent artists and live bands. My wife and I have enjoyed several concerts together in local venues here and on the west coast. Music is expressive to me and I love hearing new and interesting acts.
Why I am a Mormon
I'm Mormon because my mother had dear friends that shared the gospel message with her, before my birth. She has always been a shining example to me. When I was eight years old, I was baptized into the church by my father. Growing up in the church helped nurture my growing beliefs in Jesus Christ and modern revelation. Just before my nineteenth birthday I experienced an overpowering reassurance of the gospel's truth and my desire to share what I found with others. I was blessed to serve a church mission in the Sacramento California area were I shared my beliefs and feelings with many wonderful people seeking truth.
How I live my faith
I serve in my local meeting house, helping our local leader account for membership records and donations submitted by local members. I also meet with other fellow members monthly, sharing gospel messages and good conversation. I also remember the blessings that Christ has shared with me, and I thank Him daily. I ask for his blessing and guidance through prayer. As a father, I sit with my family for dinner and we read from scripture. It's a time where we can connect with each other and discuss gospel principles. Finally, I try to remember Christ's charge to be a good example. I seek to give my employer an honest days work for the financial security they afford me.
