Hi I'm Eric

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

If I have free time i like to spend it out side. I love to go dirt biking I have a Kawasaki 250 I mostly enjoy riding trails. I have owned snowmibiles and I look foward to buying another one. I love snowmobiling going high into the mountains it is so cool to see all the snow on the trees its like your in a different world. When I was in High School I played on the rugby team. I grew to really love the game. Most people think that it is a very rough sport witch it can be. But to me its the only sport that the referee is respected that I know of. There is only one referee and the only people that can talk to him is the team captains. If there is any arguing with the referee he can end the game in favor of who ever is not arguing. Right now I am working saving to go to school and become a Heavy Duty Mechanic. I love fixing things and I am looking forward to learning more about it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My parents were members and they raised me in the LDS church. I grew up going to church as a child, learning about the savior and god. It was not untill I was 16 when I really knew that the church was true. I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon. Witch I had done before. I got the whole way through i got to the verse in Moroni 10:4-5. In this verse the Book of Mormon Prophet Moroni challeges the reader to pray to god and ask in the book is a true book. He goes on and teaches that the holy ghost will testify of truth. This greatly impressed me. It came to me that I had never done this. So that night I prayed, angels did not come, I did not have a vision. The holy ghost testified to me with warm comfortable assurance that the Book of Mormon was true. It was a feeling I could and can not deny. I am not special any one who reads the Book of Mormon and prays about it can recive a answer.

How I live my faith

I recently returned from a 2 year mission for the church. I served in Ogden Utah and had a great time. I currently am serving In Salmon Arm as a ward missionary. I take part in the teaching prosses of new members. I also often get to teach differnt Sunday school classes. I enjoy teaching the gosple of Jesus Christ.
